Oju Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the app "Oju" provided by AnotherBrain Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading and starting to use this app, users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. Subscriptions

This app offers certain paid features and utilizes the In-App Purchase system provided by Apple Inc.

• Pricing and Duration: Subscription prices and periods are displayed within the app.
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Renewal Charges: The fee for the selected plan will be determined and charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Management and Cancellation: Users can manage their subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to "Settings" > "Apple ID" > "Subscriptions" on their iPhone.
• Refunds: Refunds for purchases made on Apple’s platform must be processed through Apple. We cannot perform refund transactions directly.
• Free Trial Period: If a free trial is offered, the subscription will automatically transition to a paid subscription after the trial period ends.

3. Prohibited Acts

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using this app:

• Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
• Acts that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of us or any third party.
• Acts that place an excessive load on the servers or interfere with the operation of the app.
• Any other acts that we deem inappropriate.

4. Disclaimer

• We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users resulting from the use of this app, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part.
• The contents and continued provision of this app may be changed, suspended, or terminated without prior notice.

5. AI-Powered Translation Feature

• This app provides an automated translation feature using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Translation results are generated mechanically, and we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.
• Users shall use the translation results at their own risk. For purposes involving important decision-making or professional judgments in fields such as law, medicine, finance, etc., please ensure verification by a human professional.
• We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of translation results, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

6. Web Page Content

• This app provides a feature to retrieve and translate the content of web pages specified by the User.
• Copyrights and other rights to the web pages belong to the respective rights holders of that content.
• Users shall comply with applicable copyright laws and other regulations when using web pages, including translated content.
• We do not guarantee the content, accuracy, legality, or rights status of the web pages to be translated.
• This app provides a translation function and does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or relationship with specific websites or services.

7. Agreement to Privacy Policy

The handling of Users' personal information shall be governed by our separately established "Privacy Policy."

8. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms at any time without prior notice to Users if we deem it necessary. The modified Terms shall become effective from the time they are posted within the app.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
• Any disputes arising in connection with this app shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office for the first instance.

10. Date of Enactment and Revision

Enacted: March 11, 2026

Governing Language

This Agreement shall be executed in the Japanese language. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the Japanese version and any translation thereof, the Japanese version shall prevail in all respects.
